When to use it
Use when Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion is reporting an account, balance, date, status, inquiry, address, or personal detail that is wrong or unverifiable.
How to use it
- Pull all three reports from AnnualCreditReport.com.
- Circle each exact item and write the factual reason it is wrong.
- Attach copies of supporting proof, never originals.
- Mail certified with return receipt and keep a copy.
- Calendar the response deadline and review the updated report.
