When to use it
Use when a creditor, collector, or other furnisher is sending the wrong facts to the bureaus. Send this in addition to the bureau dispute.
How to use it
- Name the exact account and the exact fact that is wrong.
- Send it to the furnisher’s dispute address, not a payment lockbox.
- Attach copies of proof.
- Ask them to correct every bureau they furnished.
- Keep certified-mail proof and calendar 30 days.
